These stunning bears perfectly capture some of your most precious memories. Why hide your beautiful gown in a box in the loft, when it can take pride of place in your home?
Every wedding dress is different, featuring details such as beading, embroidery and lace. I will be in touch at every step to discuss your ideas and mine, to create a flawless keepsake that you will treasure.
The bear measures approx. 30cm/12" (standing 40cm/16"). She has jointed arms and legs and a sculpted face.
All the fabrics for the teddy itself are lined during the process, so even delicate fabrics like chiffon can be used. You can also add beaded "bracelets", dresses and veils.
Included in the price:
- Add an extra personal touch with names, birth details or a short verse or message. You can even add photo patches or a printed patch with your replicated handwriting at an additional cost.
- You will receive full Design Consultation and I will use my 'artistic licence', however I am more than happy to work with you if you have particular design features in mind, items you’d like me to do something special with or favourites you have seen in my previous work. I can update you with my ideas before I start work, or you can choose a surprise and let me decide what will work particularly well.
- UK P&P (Royal Mail's Tracked 24, or Parcel Force's express24 for larger orders).
Stuffed with a little magic along with premium grade carded hollow fibre filling and while I cannot CE certify these keepsakes (I would have to burn your fabrics!), eyes, noses and joints are always “safety” standard and carefully fixed in place. Where needed, fabrics are lined to ensure their stability and durability, and seams are triple-stitched for extra strength.
Once you have placed your order I will get in touch with your order confirmation and further information about where to send your fabrics and by when. The current waiting time is approx. 6 months, although I can often accommodate if you need your order sooner.
These keepsakes make the perfect wedding gift - simply purchase a gift voucher and indicate in a note at the checkout that you'd like a wedding teddy.
If you need your keepsake by a particular date, please add a note to your order in the checkout.
If you change your mind about any of the details after you have ordered, please just get in touch. I'm happy even to swap to an entirely different keepsake. Any difference in price can easily be refunded or invoiced.
CHARITY DONATION
All keepsakes now include a donation to your choice of three charities - Hope House/Ty Gobaith Children's Hospice, St David's Hospice or Idlewild Animal Sanctuary. You can find more information about the charities here. This donation is at no extra cost to you, and you can choose the charity to which you'd like to donate at the checkout when you're placing your order.

Highly recommended - I absolutely adore my beautiful wedding dress bear, and it s such a lovely way to honour the dress that has sat in storage for so many years! Clare was so easy to work with, carefully working with the details of the dress that I wanted to keep, and explaining the whole creation process clearly in advance. Clare is AMAZING!! I ve been lucky enough to have had 2 memory bears made my Clare, one for my daughter made out of her baby clothes and one out of my wedding dress. Both are stunning and so precious to me. The detail is just incredible, especially on my wedding dress bear. Rather than hide it away in the loft, never to see the light of day again, I decided I should do something with my wedding dress. It was marked so no good for anyone else to wear, and so I wondered about either having a memory bear made or donating it to a charity who could use the material. I did some research on various companies, and the most consistently beautiful bears were being made by The Memory Bear Company. This then came with the added bonus that whatever material wasn t used could then be donated to make stillborn baby gowns. It even included a small donation to another local charity. There was a bit of a waiting list, but to me this is a sign that the maker is in demand and the product is going to be good. I received my bear this week and it is stunning. The bear absolutely captures the design of the dress by taking features of the dress and incorporating them into the design of the bear. The quality and make is so impressive, it s just beautiful. It has jointed arms and legs unlike many you see, and the eye for detail is incredible with all the lace positioned perfectly. Clare, the maker, was an absolute pleasure to deal with and is a true artist. I d really recommend her.
