Choose the most precious items of clothing and I'll handcraft adorable teddies for you to treasure.
Why just pack away your favourite babygrows - when will you ever get them out to look at them? These expertly handmade creatures feature patches from any sentimental fabrics, from babygrows to school uniforms or even Grandad's cap.
The lion needs one (or more, if you prefer) adult garment or seven baby/child garments (based on 6-9 month sleepsuits). The lion measures approx. 30cm/11”.
Please do ask if you'd like any help deciding which garments would work best from your selection. All the fabrics are lined during the process, so even delicate fabrics like chiffon and knits can be used.

Included in the price:
- Add an extra personal touch with names, birth details or a short verse or message. You can even include photo patches or a printed patch with your replicated handwriting at an additional cost.
- You will receive full Design Consultation and I will use my 'artistic licence', however I am more than happy to work with you if you have particular design features in mind, items you’d like me to do something special with or favourites you have seen in my previous work. I can update you with my ideas before I start work, or you can choose a surprise and let me decide what will work particularly well.
- UK P&P (Royal Mail's Tracked 24, or Parcel Force's express24 for larger orders).
Stuffed with a little magic along with premium grade carded hollow fibre filling and while I cannot CE certify these keepsakes (I would have to burn your fabrics!), eyes, noses and joints are always “safety” standard and carefully fixed in place. Where needed, fabrics are lined to ensure their stability and durability, and seams are triple-stitched for extra strength.
Once you have placed your order I will get in touch with your order confirmation and further information about where to send your fabrics and by when. The current waiting time is approx. 6 months, although I can often accommodate if you need your order sooner.
If you need your keepsake by a particular date, please add a note to your order in the checkout.
If you change your mind about any of the details after you have ordered, please just get in touch. I'm happy even to swap to an entirely different keepsake. Any difference in price can easily be refunded or invoiced.
The lion is made using a pattern from The Funky Friends Factory.
CHARITY DONATION
All keepsakes now include a donation to your choice of three charities - Hope House/Ty Gobaith Children's Hospice, St David's Hospice or Idlewild Animal Sanctuary. You can find more information about the charities here. This donation is at no extra cost to you, and you can choose the charity to which you'd like to donate at the checkout when you're placing your order.

Wonderful attention to detail and considerate nature

Absolutely fantastic items received today. Clare was tasked with making 9 memory bears, 1 memory lion and 1 memory fox out of my late dad s clothes. After parcelling up a large box of clothes made up of predominantly blue shirts, trousers and jumpers. Clare used her creative genius and made every bear individual and different making them look like they are wearing little jumpers which just personifies the man they were made in memory of. Clare s wonderful attention to detail and considerate nature when she is being bombarded with questions and our indecisive nature, helped make this difficult and emotional task so much easier. I cannot thank Clare enough for the amazing items we received today and wish her all the luck with her move to Paris. Xxx ️ ️ ️

We first got our first keepsake about 5 years ago and received 2 more this year all Are very thoughtful gifts. They were made with both children s baby clothes. Amazing quality and we all love looking at the baby clothes and cuddling our animals. Very talented lady. As you can see from the photos the kids love their animals too xx

Clare did a wonderful job piecing together three lions for us to share with friends. She was able to create such wonderful and unique creations with the materials I was able to provide. Our keepsake lion arrived this morning, made from our little boy's 1st Christmas clothes. I was absolutely amazed when I opened the box. Clearly made with so much love and care. I cannot recommend Clare enough. I'm so glad I found this page, if you're in two minds about placing an order, do it! I promise you won't be disappointed. Throughout, Clare kept in touch and even let me know when my parcel had got to her safely. No question was ever delayed or went unanswered, despite how busy she clearly is! Such a gorgeous keepsake and a million times better than the other option of keeping his 1st Christmas clothes...stored away, in the attic. Sadly my nephew was suddenly without his daddy at just 8 years old. Feeling helpless I wanted to try to offer him as much comfort as we could. I knew Clare as a previous work colleague and I immediately thought of the beautiful keepsakes she made. My nephew picked one of daddy s T-shirts, looked at Clare's website and picked the design of Teddy he liked. We also took a message from his daddy, from some birthday cards and included it into the design. Clare then turned the initial request into the final finished piece within the week. I don t think Clare will ever know how much we appreciate it. Most highly recommended! xx

Clare is beyond brilliant. Extremely talented, clearly creative and more than happy to work to your ideas! She can add her own creative twist to things or you can ask for what you would like. She keeps in touch with you throughout your process. There might be choices like eye size or ear placement. We had a Lion made from our babies precious clothes. It's hard to part with them but now rather than sitting in a Keepsake box somewhere, our little Lion can be out on display. Please check out her range on her website. I've never seen so many options of animals to have your lovely items made into. The choice was sooo hard. The Lion is stuffed beautifully, firm enough to stand, soft enough for a cuddle. The little toes are so sweet. I dont know what for next, but I will be using Clare again in the future for something, I'm sure.

OMG I nearly cried when I opened my parcel from Clare. She made me the most beautiful lion ever using my little boys babygrows and the result is just AMAZING.
